As the JA Team grows, JA is eager for the community to welcome and get to know Ruth Wilson, JA Senior Regional Student Impact Manager.  Welcome to the team, Ruth!

 

JA: What are you most excited about in your role?

Ruth: Being a return employee to Junior Achievement, I am most excited to help the team grow and further our mission. I feel like my new role is a great fit to build on what knowledge I have gain that past 8 years working at Junior Achievement.

JA: Are you a JA Alum? 

Ruth: I am not! However, I was a JA Volunteer for a few years before coming on board as a JA team member.

JA: What is one goal that you hope to achieve with Junior Achievement?

Ruth: I am eager to help move the organization as a regional education partner across our 15 county footprint.

JA: In what ways do you feel your experience benefits this role?

Ruth: As a previous JA team member, I already have great established connections, relationship building skills, and the knowledge to help the team grow.

JA: What is your “Why JA”?

Ruth: I believe in JA’s mission of bondless possibility for every student to have a sense of purpose. With this foundation, students have the knowledge and tools to live a choice-filled life.
