Chairman of the Board
Koch Enterprises, Inc.
Robert L. Koch II is Chairman of the Board at Koch Enterprises Inc. and a registered professional engineer with seven U.S. patents. Koch is part of a family company that spans five generations. Outside of the family business, Koch has served on the boards of many area organizations, including the Community Alliance Foundation, the Chamber of Commerce of Southwestern Indiana, the United Way of Southwestern Indiana, and the Vanderburgh Community Foundation for Southwestern Indiana. He was integral in creating the charter school Signature School and serves as president of the school. He is president of the Koch Foundation.
Koch received the Delta Sigma Pi Business Leader of the Year Award in 1993 and the Samuel Orr University of Evansville Honorary Alumnus Award in 2003. He also has received the Rotary Civic Award and has been recognized as a Sagamore of the Wabash and the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year for Manufacturing in Indiana.
Koch graduated cum laude from the University of Notre Dame with a BSME and received an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh. He has received honorary doctoral degrees from Vincennes University and Ivy Tech State College.
